With about 3.5 billion fans, soccer (or football, if you prefer) is the most popular sport in the world. One of the things that makes it so popular is that all your need is a ball and a couple of teammates to get started.
Not only is riding a bike a great way physical activity for kids, it’s also useful for the development of motor, spatial and practical coping skills, helping kids develop independence, responsibility, and a sense of identity, building confidence and social skills, and helping them to get a sense of their neighbourhood.
Sometimes you’ll see the children sitting quietly, perhaps listening to a story or taking turns to guess what another child has brought in for Letter of the Week. At other times, especially when they are outside, it can seem like barely organised chaos with children running in a million different directions.
